Bundler App / Seal Subscriptions / Cartbot
While working at Placeholder, I was responsible for maintaining and improving well-known applications in the Shopify market such as Bundler, Seal Subscriptions, and Cartbot. Key features implemented include a widget for Seal Subscriptions that integrates with all markets and currencies, a WYSIWYG editor with preconfigured templates for multiple email types, an analytics dashboard calculating subscription distribution across products, a Cartbot popup selector for product selection, and Bundler marketing tools for customer-facing emails. My main contributions were implementing a custom WYSIWYG editor and creating market translations for merchant emails and notifications, along with bug fixing and codebase improvements.

Seal Subscriptions
Seal Subscriptions is a Shopify app that lets merchants set up and manage product subscriptions. Instead of customers making a one-time purchase, they can subscribe to products (like coffee, supplements, or cosmetics) and receive them automatically on a recurring schedule (weekly, monthly, etc.). While working at Seal Subscriptions, my primary contribution was adding translations for all customer facing emails. Creating template editior enabled users to easily edit their template without having to know how to code.
Bundler App
Worked on Bundler – Product Bundles, a top-rated Shopify app (4.9 average from 1,200+ reviews) that enables dynamic product bundling—classic, mix & match, volume-tiered, and sectioned bundles—with seamless subscription integration (e.g., with Seal Subscriptions) and support for funnel pop-ups, landing pages, and POS. The app is installed on over 36,000 stores including top merchants like New Era Cap, Our Place, and Zulily. Delivered features across pricing tiers: free essentials, premium bundling tools, and executive-level analytics.
Cartbot
CartBot: Gift with purchase is a Shopify app developed by Bundler.app that lets merchants automatically add free products or gifts to their customers’ carts based on custom rules. Whether it’s a “Buy One, Get One Free” setup, a cart value threshold, or a promotional sample, CartBot handles it all and even removes the gift if customers alter their carts and no longer meet the conditions.
